Five Day Combination Vacation

This combines the archeology tours with some of our ranch vacation activities.  We often modify this package as we see what you enjoy most.

The Hollenbeck family has been ranching in this area for several generations and operates on four different ranches and the national forest so there is an endless amount of country to ride over. We will go for a horse and wagon ride through the pine and cedar canyons or down along the scenic Cheyenne River. You can bring your own horse or we will provide one for you.  For some of you that may not want to spend all day in a saddle we have teams of horses and wagons that provide a very comfortable and enjoyable alternative to saddle sores. 

We will be moving cattle and branding through most of the season.  We will also be putting up hay and farming with horses.  We have a beautiful team of Percherons that are well trained and provide an exciting and unique opportunity to drive.  We have several wagons as well as farm and haying equipment for our horses.  Driving horses is one of the most enjoyable experiences you will ever have if you haven’t done it before.  And if you have done it before you what it is like and will want to do it again.

We attempt to operate our ranch with minimal petroleum input.  Whenever possible we use horses to do our work and transportation.  You will find this vacation a great step back in time.

This package includes five days and six nights.  Normally arriving on a Sunday afternoon and leaving Saturday mornings.  This can be changed to meet your schedule.  If you would like to extend this package to more nights, just let us know and we will work with you.

Prices for the Five Day Ranch Vacation are $1250 for double occupancy and $1500 for single occupancy.  Children are ½ price if the stay in the same room.
