Three Day Archeology Tour

Sunrise Ranch is located on the rim of Craven Canyon. In the canyon are some of the oldest petroglyphs and pretrograhps known in North America. A hike or horse ride to the bottom of the canyon and a picnic lunch will take up the better part of a day. The second day will include touring the ranches and seeing lithic scatter where Indians of the past knapped their arrow and spear heads out of stone. You will be able to stand in Teepee rings where Indian encampments once were. We will also identify different plants that the Indians used to survive on and are still available today. The final day is spent touring the Mammoth Site in Hot Springs, Wind Cave National Park or Crazy Horse Mountain.

Packages include 4 nights stay, dinner the first night and breakfast the last morning.  If you would like to extend this package to more nights, just let us know and we will work with you.

The cost for this package is $700 per person Double occupancy.  $800 for single occupancy.  Children in same room as adult ½ price.
